Transporting Firearms to SHOT Show Following Industry Day
Follow the transporting procedures below to help ensure Industry Day at the Range and SHOT Show’s annual visit to Las Vegas continues to be a successful and safe event for everyone. If you do not require your firearms on the SHOT Show floor, utilize the Derse Outbound Shipping option.
PROCEDURE FOR CHECKING IN FIREARM CASES AT VENETIAN EXPO
- All firearms must be delivered in a case provided by the Exhibitor.
- There shall be NO live ammunition in the cases.
- Exhibitors bringing firearms from Industry Day should go directly to the Venetian Expo taxi drop-off area on Sands Avenue and identify themselves to security and make them aware the firearms are coming from Industry Day.
- Exhibitors must proceed directly to the safety advisors room located on Venetian Expo Level 1, Room 310, to have the firearms checked for the removal of firing pins and tagged before going on the event floor.
- Firearms that will be checked into secured storage (Venetian Level 1, Room 310) must be checked by a safety advisor prior to being received by the security team.
PROCEDURE FOR CHECKING IN FIREARM CASES AT CAESARS FORUM
- All firearms must be delivered in a case provided by the Exhibitor.
- There shall be NO live ammunition in the cases.
- Exhibitors bringing firearms from Industry Day should go directly to the Caesars Forum taxi drop-off area and identify themselves to security and make them aware the firearms are coming from Industry Day.
- Exhibitors must proceed directly to the safety advisors room located in room 401, to have the firearms checked for the removal of firing pins and tagged before going on the event floor.
- Firearms that will be checked into secured storage (Room 401) must be checked by a safety advisor prior to being received by the security team.
The security post will be open 24/7. The security team can be reached 24/7 at 702-691-8522 beginning January 18, 2025.
HOTEL FIREARM POLICY
It is against Las Vegas hotel policy to bring firearms or live ammunition through the main hotel/casino entry doors. This is a long-standing policy for most hotels in Las Vegas and they will be strictly enforcing this policy.
