What is Industry Day at the Range?

Industry Day at the Range is set to take place on Monday, January 20, 2025 from 8:30AM-4:00PM the day before the opening day of SHOT Show at the Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club. The day will be split into two sessions; the first will be open to invited media members who are welcome to stay the entire day, the afternoon session will open at 12:00PM to up to invited buyers, dealers, distributors, and retailers. Industry Day at the Range gives invited media and buyers the opportunity to shoot and test the latest products from over 200 manufactures. Industry Day continues to be the premier hunting and shooting event in the industry providing hands-on experience for attendees.

What are the show hours?

The event will take place from 8:30AM-4:00PM on Monday, January 20, 2025, the day before the opening day of SHOT Show. The day is split into two sessions; the first will open to invited and registered media at 8:30AM who are welcome to stay the entire day (4:00PM). The afternoon session will open at 12:00PM to invited and registered buyers, distributors, wholesalers/retailers, and LE/military buyers.

Who can attend Industry Day at the Range?

Attendance is RESTRICTED to invited media members and buyers in the shooting, hunting, outdoor, military and law enforcement services ONLY. Media attendance to Industry Day at the Range is by invitation only from companies exhibiting at Industry Day. If you are a member of the media and wish to attend Industry Day at the Range we suggest reaching out to an exhibitor you work closely with prior to September 1 to request to be included on their invitation list. You must be be approved for a SHOT Show media badge in order to accept your Industry Day invitation. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older.

This policy has been in effect for several years and has resulted in a positive experience both for exhibitors and attendees. The show is not open to the public. There will be NO ONSITE REGISTRATION. Industry Day reserves the right to revoke an invitation at any time.

How do I receive an invitation?

All invites are submitted from companies exhibiting. If you are a member of the media and wish to attend Industry Day at the Range we suggest reaching out to an exhibitor you work closely with prior to September 1 to request to be included on their invitation list. If you are a member of the media or buyer who was invited to the 2024 Industry Day at the Range you will automatically receive an invitation to the 2025 event. You must qualify as media for the 2025 SHOT Show in order to accept your invitation.

How do I know if I am invited?

Individuals who are invited will receive a save the date email in late September. A subsequent email will be sent in October with a link to register for SHOT Show. If you have been invited, you will be prompted to register for Industry Day during your SHOT Show registration process. If you received an invitation to Industry Day 2024 you will automatically receive an invitation to the 2025 event – you must still qualify as a member of the media for SHOT Show in order to be able to accept your invitation and attend.

How do I register?

Invited individuals will be prompted to register for Industry Day during their SHOT Show registration process in October. You must be registered for a SHOT Show MEDIA badge in order to be able to accept your Industry Day invitation and attend. There will be NO onsite registration.

How do I add crew?

Invited media have the ability to add up to 3 crew members during the registration process. Crew must be qualified members of the media and registered for SHOT Show as MEDIA. This does NOT register your crew for SHOT Show or Industry Day, simply provides them the ability to register for Industry Day during their SHOT Show registration process. If you are not ready to add crew during your registration process you can return to your SHOT Show dashboard to add crew. All crew members must be registered as MEDIA for SHOT Show in order to attend. A deadline for applying and assigning media credentials may be put into effect at anytime at the discretion of the NSSF Communications team. You must add your crew and they must provide qualifying credentials before capacity is reached. There will be NO ONSITE REGISTRATION of media or crew.

Can I bring a guest to Industry Day?

No, Industry Day is for invited members of the media and buyers only. No guests or spouses are permitted.

Is there on-site registration?

No, you must be pre-registered to attend

How will I receive my badge?

Your SHOT Show badge also serves as your Industry Day badge.

SHOT Show offers 24-hour registration starting Sunday, January 19, 2025 at 8:00am for approved, barcoded registrations at the Venetian Registration Alcove.

You may also have your badge printed at the range on Monday beginning at 8:00am.

Please remember a couple of things.

  • If you already have a registration barcode, are an approved attendee/media or if you are an exhibitor, you can pick up at any location provided in the above link.
  • If your registration is pending, you must pick up at the Venetian Registration Alcove.
  • There is NO onsite registration for Industry Day. Do not show up to the range unless you already are already confirmed to attend the event.
Where can I eat at the range?

Media will have the ability to buy breakfast and lunch from food trucks throughout the range. Purchases can be made by cash or card. Water bottles provided by Media Lodge will be available throughout the range.

What forms of transportation is available?

NSSF provides bus transportation to and from the range, bus schedule. Industry Day at the Range is held at the Boulder Rifle & Pistol Club located at 2700 Utah St, Boulder City, Nevada, approximately 25 miles south of Las Vegas.

Can I bring my pet to Industry Day?

NO animals except for properly identified on-duty ADA recognized service animals.

Are personal firearms or ammunition allowed?

NO personal firearms or ammunition allowed.

What should I bring?

Thanks to our sponsor Walker’s, eyes and ears will be provided however, if you prefer your own set of eyes & ears feel free to bring those. Bring a backpack to carry items you may receive from exhibitors. Wear good walking shoes, and look at the weather report before heading out to Las Vegas.
