3 Reasons to Attend Industry Day at the Range

Industry Day at the Range stands as the premier one-day trade event in the hunting and shooting sports industry. As the exclusive range event officially associated with the SHOT Show, and proudly sponsored by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), this event offers unparalleled exposure. Held annually on the Monday preceding SHOT Show, Industry Day at the Range attracts over 2,500 invited media members and buyers eager to preview and test the latest products.

Unmatched Exposure

With attendance numbers growing each year, Industry Day at the Range provides a unique platform where media and buyers can see, touch, and test the newest products from leading industry names.

Over 200 manufacturers showcase their innovations, offering attendees an exclusive first look before products hit the broader market.

The event generates hundreds of millions of digital impressions, delivering high-impact advertising opportunities for brands of all sizes.

The Early Media Coverage

Exhibitors gain immediate media attention as soon as Industry Day at the Range commences, with coverage extending through SHOT Show and beyond.

This early exposure allows your brand and products to generate buzz ahead of competitors, securing valuable media placements across print, digital, broadcast, and social platforms. It is also a platform for content creators to build assets for your brand!

Hands On Demonstrations

Unlike traditional trade shows, Industry Day at the Range offers a hands-on experience. Attendees don’t just observe—they engage directly with products, testing them in real-world scenarios.

This interactive approach enables media and buyers to gain firsthand experience, enhancing their ability to promote and sell your products effectively.

What to Expect When You Attend

Industry Day at the Range is held annually on the Monday before SHOT Show at the Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club. The venue features shooting lanes for all firearm types, tents for non-shooting companies, and ample space for on and off-road vehicle demonstrations.

  • Morning Session: Exclusive access for invited media, brand ambassadors and influencers, who are welcome to stay throughout the day.

  • Afternoon Session (starting at 12 p.m.): Invited attendees from the shooting, hunting and outdoor trade, as well as commercial buyers and sellers of military, law enforcement and tactical products and services

Attendance is by invitation only from exhibiting companies. Non-exhibiting manufacturers are not permitted to attend.
